Mid and North East Essex Mind: Counselling

This is a free counselling service for people aged 16 and over. Counselling is talking therapy where someone qualified can work with you for a short time to help you make changes or improve your wellbeing. Wellbeing is about being comfortable, healthy and happy. Usually people choose to have therapy because they are having difficulties in their lives and feeling upset.

If you are not in crisis we are here to help. If you live in North East Essex (Colchester and Tendring districts) and are looking for counselling, you can get help from our counsellors through Therapy For you, which is part of the NHS Talking Therapies. Therapy For You offers free and confidential talking therapy for those with mild to moderate anxiety or depression.

You can refer online, by calling Therapy for You on 01206 334001 or by asking your GP. Therapy for You covers areas including sleep problems, bereavment, phobias, postnatal depression, OCD and more - find out more HERE.

People aged 16+ living with mild to moderate anxiety or depression, who live in North East Essex.

We can support you face to face, on the phone or virtually.
