The Stroke and Wellness Foundation

The Stroke and Wellness Foundation is dedicated to supporting stroke survivors and their carers to improve their quality of life, confidence and self esteem. Our activities include rehabilitation, physio, cognitive therapy, speech therapy, arts and crafts, friendship events, day trips, fundraising events and counselling.

TSAWF brings people together with people who show understanding, tolerance and companionship; all important elements to recovery and ensuring life has a lighter side. We offer the following activities at our Holland on Sea address:

  • Carer Group - 1st Thursday of the month 10-12pm 
  • Third Thursday Club - 3rd Thursday of the month 10-12pm  
  • Friendship Meal Wednesday's - Wednesday's 12-1.45pm. Cost per session £6
  • Coffee Mornings - First Saturday of the month 9.30-12pm 
  • Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday morning Rehabilitation sessions - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9.30-12pm. Cost per session £10
  • Wednesday Morning YOGA Only - Wednesday 10-11am. Cost per session £5
  • Young Empowered Stroke Survivors - Tuesday 2-4pm. Cost of session £5
  • Dovercourt Therapy Session is held at Community Voluntary Services Hub - Wednesday 2-4pm. Cost of session £7
