Tendring Community Transport - Passenger Transport
Tendring Community Transport provide accessible transport to people of all ages and abilities living in the Tendring district. The purpose of the organisation is to provide transport services to people who are unable or find it difficult to access conventional transport. We provide transport to individuals and not for profit community groups. We operate a Dial-a-Ride service, Hospital Hopper, Social Car Scheme, Group Hire and Door-to-Door day trips.
Dial-a-Ride - Door to Door wheelchair accessible transport operating Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. Free travel with a valid bus pass.
Hospital Hopper - Timetabled service operates Monday to Friday between 06:15 - 17:00, Saturday 09:00 - 15:15, Sunday 09:00 -13:00. Free travel with a valid bus pass.
Group Hire - Not for profit groups can hire a vehicle with a volunteer driver for social, leisure activities.
Social Car Scheme - Tendring residents can register for the social car scheme to take them to medical appointments, we cover Ipswich, Chelsmford, Romford, London.
