African Families in the UK (AFiUK) aims be the one-stop place for families of African and other ethnic minority origin, resident in the UK, who are seeking advice or information, on matters relating to parenting and children’s education. We also provide a range of FREE community groups to maintain the strong family and community networks that Africans are known for.

We offer a range of FREE programmes in the Colchester and Tendring districts:
- Parents & Baby/Toddler Group, Hyte Community Centre-CO12FG Tuesday from 10am-3pm.
- Mother and Toddler Group, 20-23 Priory Walk,Colchester, CO1 1LG - Wednesday from 12pm-5pm.
- Colchester Youth Club, 39-42 East Stockwell St, CO1 1SS - Saturday 11am-3pm
- Basketball session, Colchester Academy, Hawthorn Avenue,Colchester, CO4 3JL - Sunday - Adults (12.15pm -2-15pm), Children 7- 13 yrs (2.15pm -3.15pm) .
- Clacton Afro-Caribbean Drop-in, 117 Pier Ave, Clacton-on-Sea, CO15 1NJ - Wednesday from 4pm-6pm
- Green Lodge Youth Club, 180 Old Rd, Clacton-on-Sea, CO15 3AY - Saturday 10am-1pm
- Harwich Youth Club, The Vibe, Main Rd, Harwich, CO12 4AH - Mondays from 6-8 pm
Afiuk Harwich Office, Stour Rd, Harwich CO12 3H also offer computer training, mental health programmes, cancer awareness programmes which cover all areas of Colchesrer, Clacton and Harwich.
