Colchester Foodbank
Colchester Foodbank provides emergency food and support to people in crisis across Colchester. We work with referral agencies to ensure those facing hardship receive essential food parcels and guidance towards further help. Our team also offers advice and signposting to additional services, helping individuals and families move beyond crisis. We are part of the Trussell Trust network, committed to tackling food poverty and its root causes. For support or to donate, visit www.colchester.foodbank.org.uk. We provide emergency food and essential suport to people in crisis across Colchester. We operate from our main base in Stanway and 10 Satelitte locations, ensuring accessibility for those needing support. Food parcels are available through a referal system, working with local agencies to support individuals and families experiencing hardship. Beyond food provision, we offer sign posting to additional services, including financial, housing and welfare in partnership with Citizens advice and Colchester City Council. Our aim is to address the root causes of poverty and help more people move forward with dignity.
We also run initiatives such as Stay Warm days, where individuals can receive a free heater and access futher support.
Through community donations , partnerships, and volunteers, we strive to ensure that no one in Colchester goes hungry.
