Crossroads is a specialist charity organisation providing support to carers in their own home, giving carers “time” to be themselves.Crossroads can offer sitting services, personal care, medication administration and help with household chores. Our minimum service is 1 hour per week.We also help people who live alone to maintain their independence by gving them support within the home. We deliver respite breaks services for Adults and parents of children with disabilities.We specialise in providing regular weekly respite services for carers.

Subject to meeting the criteria set by Essex County Council (ECC) we may be able to start a service at no cost to yourselves. In the meantime as an unpaid carer you are entitled to apply for Direct Payments from ECC to cover the costs of our services. ECC will carry out an assessment of your needs to determine whether you are entitled to direct payments thereafter. However if you wish, you can also pay for our services privately.
Crossroads is a Charity which is registered with the Care Quality Commission and has a rating of Good.
