Colchester United Young Carers Club

Our Young Carers club is offered to children in school years 5 to 9 to offer respite in a fun safe environment. A young carer is defined by their role in providing care for a family member which can include helping with shopping cooking cleaning, physical aid, childcare, or with tasks relating to ongoing illness, disability or alcohol and drug dependency. Our Young Carers club runs from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Mondays at Shrub End Community and Sports Centre, Colchester and Clacton leisure centre.

The club is staffed by qualified Sport and PE mentors and offers a range of fun and engaging activities in including games, arts and crafts, sport, and homework help.

 Who: School years 5-9

When: Every Monday (except Bank Holidays), 3:30-5:30pm

Where: Alternate weeks at Shrub End Community and Sports Centre, CO2 9BG and Clacton-On-Sea Leisure Centre, Vista Rd, Clacton-on-Sea CO15 6DB.
