CVST: Ukraine Project
At CVST, we are dedicated to supporting Ukrainian guests and the UK families who are hosting them. Whether you’re settling into life in the UK or helping someone who is, we’re here to offer guidance, support, and a sense of belonging. Please get in touch with our Community Connector, Lera, who will be happy to support you.
We offer friendly, practical assistance with:
- Understanding and applying for UK benefits (such as Universal Credit)
- Filling in forms and paperwork
- Finding employment opportunities
- Advice on UK visa applications and extensions
- Support with school and college enrolment for children and young adults
- Access to adult learning courses
- Building basic English language skills
- Improving digital and computer skills
- Accessing NHS healthcare and local social services
- Signposting and referring to local organisations and other relevant services
- Community connecting – helping to integrate into the local community
Who can use this service?
How are services delivered?
Ukrainians, their hosts or those supporting them, who are living in Tendring and surrounding areas.
After referral, contact will be made via telephone or email and is also available face-to-face.
